Consolidated version of Lisbon Treaty available in Latvian

16 Apr 2008

This week, unofficial consolidated versions of the Treaty on European Union and the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union together with the annexes and protocols thereto, including the amendments introduced by the Treaty of Lisbon, were published in Latvian on the Internet site of the European Council. As a result of the consolidation, amendments made by the Lisbon Treaty have been included in the EU core treaties and reflected in a single document.

Official consolidated versions of the Lisbon Treaty in all the official EU languages are expected to be published in May, in the Official Journal of the European Union. However, all those who are interested may acquaint themselves with the provisional text of the consolidated treaty already now.

The unofficial version of the consolidated Lisbon Treaty is available on  http://consilium.europa.eu/showPage.asp?id=1296&lang=en&mode=g
