From 20 to 23 May, a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited Kosovo and met with representatives of Kosovan institutions, to be briefed on the general situation in the state and to discuss the establishment of diplomatic relations.

The Foreign Ministry officials met with Zenun Pajaziti, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Nekibe Kelmendi, the Minister of Justice, deputies of the Kosovan President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister, the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, the Deputy Head of the Liaison Office of the European Commission, Deputy Head of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), as well as Slovenian, German, and British diplomats and other officials.

On 22 May, the Foreign Ministry representatives took part in a session of the International Steering Group for Kosovo in Pristina.
