Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins to discuss South Caucasus topicalities with U.S. Department of State Deputy Assistant Secretary of State

On 10 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Maris Riekstins will meet with Matthew J. Bryza, U.S. Department of State Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs to discuss the situation in Georgia and other related current processes/events in the Southern Caucasus region. Within the framework of the discussion, energy issues in the Caspian and Black Sea regions are also to be debated.

During his visit to Latvia, Matthew J. Bryza will also meet with Eduards Stiprais, Head of the Chancery of the President, and Peteris Ustubs, Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as with Toms Baumanis, LATO Chairman.
