On 27 August, Foreign Minister Maris Riekstins will go on a working visit to Sweden, where he will meet with Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt and Goran Lennmarker, the Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Swedish Parliament.
During the meeting, it is planned to discuss the current events in bilateral relations between Latvia and Sweden, as well as the latest developments in international politics, including the situation in Georgia.
