Latvian President's biography published in Italian language

On 14 March 2007, the book Il Percorso di Una Vita containing the biography of Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga and also relating information about Latvia in the 20^th century was released in Florence, Italy.

The author of the book is Nadine Vitols-Dixon and it has been published by the publishing house Emmebi Edizioni Firenze with the support of Latvia's Honorary Consul-General in Florence and the Latvian Embassy in Rome. The book had also been published in French, Finnish, and English by the Latvian publishing house Petergailis.

The book-launch ceremony will take place at the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence on 29 March during the Latvian President's working visit to Italy.
