On the problems encountered by Latvian company "Laval & Partneri" in Sweden [16 Nov 2004]

The Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is carefully observing the problems encountered by the Latvian company, "Laval & Partneri", which operates in Sweden; the Ministry is also evaluating the situation.

Three weeks ago, the Latvian Embassy in Sweden requested in a letter, addressed to Invest in Sweden Agency and the Swedish Foreign Affairs Ministry, an explanation for the existing situation.

Tomorrow, on 17 November, the Deputy State Secretary of the Latvian Foreign Affairs Ministry, A. Teikmanis, is meeting the Swedish Ambassador to Latvia, Göran Håkansson, to find out the opinion of the Swedish government concerning the situation.
