Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia to visit India

Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia will visit India from the 2nd to 6 November. He will meet H.E. Mr. Ram Nath Kovind, President of the Republic of India, and H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minster of the Republic of India.

The Prime Minister of Latvia will deliver a speech in the international food exhibition “World Food India” and will visit Latvia’s national pavilion. Delegation, headed by the Prime Minister of Latvia, will also visit the Embassy of Latvia in India and meet representatives of the Latvian diaspora and entrepreneurs in India.

In the second part of the visit H.E. Mr. Kučinskis will participate in Latvia – India Transport and Logistics Conference in Mumbai and will officially inaugurate the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia in Mumbai. H.E. Mr. Kučinskis will also meet the Maharashtra Governor Hon’ble Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao.

This will be the first visit of the Prime Minister of Latvia to India. He will be accompanied by a delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Transport, Investment and Development Agency of Latvia and a business delegation representing areas of transport, logistics and food industry.
